Effortless Waves

6:00 AM

Happy almost the weekend all! Technically it's already the weekend for me, fortunately because I'm already en route to Cancun for the long weekend. Hello sun, swim-up bars, and palm trees! I'm not a huge beach person, but I'm kind of obsessed with how the wind and the salt makes my hair look. I've always wanted to have that beachy wave look without the actually salt and wind.

If I have time, I love being able to go in for a blowout--it's super relaxing to me but a lot of times my schedule is so packed that I really don't have time to squeeze it in, and not to mention it gets pricey if you do go too often.

Enter Drybar products. I made it a goal this summer to be able to create these effortless waves myself..and honestly this Drybar Full Pint Brush and 3-Day Bender curling iron has made it so easy. Here is my process is a quick few steps:

1. Wash hair, and blow dry hair until it is almost all dry.
2. Comb through hair with Full Pint Brush in sections, creating very loose effortless curls, or simply just curling the ends for a more voluminous look.
3.  Go through your hair with  The 3-Day Bender, for more defined waves.
4. Run your hand through your hair to break up the sections, and apply hairspray if needed!

I got my Full Pint Brush and The 3-Day Bender a few weeks ago, and have been using it non-stop. I love the way my hair looks with it, and the process is actually way faster than I expected. I have super thick hair, and I can get this done within half an hour--the drying part with curling my ends takes 2/3 of the time, and going through my hair with The 3-Day Bender actually ends up being a super fast 10 minute process.

For anyone who doesn't have a brush and curling iron, but is looking for one, I would highly recommend Drybar's. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions! Would be happy to chat!
