#PerfectNever I

I am so excited to be partnering up with Reebok on their Perfect Never campaign. I’ve grown up falling in love with the modeling world, seeing all these girls walking down the runway in the most beautiful clothes, dreaming that I could be one of them one day. As a kid I even went so far as to get professional shots for a portfolio…needless to say it was pretty short lived. I soon realized that I am not nearly tall enough nor skinny enough to make it in the modeling world. I was so inspired by all the fashion but at the same time it really skewed the way I believe girls should look: skinny and tall in order to look good in those clothes.

Growing up I really learned to love my own body. I learned to love that I wasn’t going to make it as a runway model and that it was totally okay. I learned that there are so many things that I really love about my body so much that I’m totally a-okay with who I am.

That is probably one of the million reasons why I love this campaign so much. This campaign is focused on reminding everyone that strength means many different things whether it be something physical based on how much you lift or how many miles you can run at a time to something more mental like being able to really embrace your imperfections and mistakes. Being beautiful is not all based on what you look like physically but also on how you feel about yourself on the inside. It's about being able to accept who you are and who you want to be.

Don't ever let anybody tell you you're not worth it.
